Who is responsible for your information
Socimie LLC, operating the Socimie service, is responsible for the personal information described in this policy where it acts as controller. Registered address: 30 N Gould St, Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States.
Privacy requests can be sent to privacy@socimie.com. General support is available at support@socimie.com.
Who this policy covers
This policy applies when you visit Socimie’s public website, contact us, request access, create or use a Socimie workspace, receive support, or connect an eligible social-media or advertising account.
Some integrations and product capabilities remain subject to provider approval, account eligibility, API availability and staged rollout. This policy describes the data boundary for capabilities when they are enabled.
Information we may handle
Website, account and support information
- Contact details, company and role information you provide.
- Workspace, membership, preference, authentication and support information.
- Technical, security, audit and operational records needed to run and protect the service.
Connected-platform information
- OAuth authorization details and identifiers for eligible Pages, organizations, channels and advertising accounts.
- Authorized organization content, comments and replies, aggregate reactions and analytics, and limited member actor references needed for authorized engagement workflows.
- Advertising hierarchy, campaign and reporting data, including spend, budgets, delivery and performance metrics where supplied by the provider.
- Authorization evidence, provider diagnostics, sync status and coverage metadata.
- User-created or imported content, campaigns, listening results, policy findings and advisory intelligence generated inside Socimie.
LinkedIn data use
Socimie connects to LinkedIn only when a workspace administrator authorizes it through LinkedIn’s official authorization flow. For selected authorized LinkedIn Pages and ad accounts, Socimie may process organization content, comments and replies, aggregate reactions and analytics, advertising hierarchy and reporting, organization authorization evidence, and provider diagnostics.
LinkedIn access credentials are designed to remain encrypted and backend-only. Socimie does not scrape LinkedIn, enrich member profiles, create people records from aggregate data, or claim complete LinkedIn coverage. Minimal member actor references used for authorized engagement are removed within 48 hours where required by the implemented retention controls.
Why information is used
- To provide the Socimie workspace, dashboards, publishing, analytics, reporting, listening and connected-platform features you enable.
- To maintain authorized integrations and synchronize provider data.
- To generate alerts, summaries, recommendations and policy or performance intelligence.
- To respond to enquiries, support, security, privacy and deletion requests.
- To protect accounts, investigate abuse, troubleshoot failures and maintain auditable service records.
- To comply with applicable legal, tax, accounting and provider obligations.
Legal bases
Depending on your location and the context, processing may rely on performance of a contract, steps requested before entering a contract, legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, compliance with legal obligations, or consent where consent is required.
Platform authorization and limitations
Connected-platform data is accessed only through supported provider interfaces after an authorized user grants the relevant permissions. Availability varies by provider, account type, product tier, API plan, approval status and permission.
Socimie does not ask users to disclose social-media passwords and does not sell raw platform data. See Platform Data Use for additional detail.
AI and advisory intelligence
Permitted information may be used to summarize data, organize listening intent, detect meaningful changes, classify themes, explain performance or policy signals, and generate recommendations.
Socimie intelligence is advisory. It is not an official platform decision, legal advice or a guarantee of approval, compliance, performance or business results.
Service providers and international processing
Socimie may use infrastructure, communications, security, analytics, payment and other service providers where needed to operate and support the service. Where personal information is processed across borders, Socimie uses contractual, organizational or other safeguards required by applicable law. Provider categories and processing arrangements may change as the service evolves.
Retention
Information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the relevant service, security, reporting, audit, dispute or legal purpose.
Disconnecting a provider stops future authorized synchronization and removes usable connection credentials. Normalized historical records may remain for reporting or audit where appropriate. Tenant-scoped provider-data deletion requests are processed subject to legal, security and documented retention requirements.
Security
Socimie is designed to keep provider credentials and tokens server-side, scope connected data to the authorized workspace, and prevent client input from overriding trusted tenant boundaries. Access, logging, retention and deletion controls are designed around data minimization and operational auditability.
No service can guarantee absolute security. See Security for the current security position.
Your choices and rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection, and to withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. We may need to verify identity and authority before acting on a request.
You can disconnect supported integrations, revoke authorization through the relevant provider, or follow the data-deletion instructions.
Policy updates
We may update this policy as Socimie’s features, providers and legal obligations change. Material changes will be dated and communicated through an appropriate channel.
