Data deletion

Disconnect access or request deletion.

Disconnecting an integration, revoking provider authorization and deleting data stored by Socimie are related, but they are separate actions.

01

Disconnect the integration

For a supported connected account, open Socimie Settings → Connections, choose the provider and select Disconnect. For LinkedIn, use Settings → Connections → LinkedIn → Disconnect. Disconnecting removes usable encrypted connection credentials and stops future synchronization for that connection.

02

Revoke provider authorization

You can also remove Socimie through the provider’s own application, security or authorized-app settings. This stops future provider authorization but does not necessarily delete historical data already stored in your Socimie workspace.

03

Delete stored Socimie data

Use the in-product deletion action where available or submit a verified privacy request covering the relevant workspace and provider data. For LinkedIn, choose Delete LinkedIn data and keep the confirmation code shown by Socimie.

Required fields

What happens after deletion?

A provider-data deletion request is scoped to the requesting tenant or workspace. Socimie removes data covered by the validated request according to the applicable deletion workflow and records the result for operational audit where required.

Disconnecting stops future synchronization. Labeled normalized historical records may remain where reasonably necessary for reporting, security, legal or audit obligations unless the validated deletion request and applicable law require their removal. Backup copies may persist temporarily until normal backup rotation completes.
